| Scot
earned his bachelors degree in Civil Engineering from the University
of Toledo. He served as past President of the American Council
of Engineering Companies (Toledo) and is a member of the National,
Ohio and Toledo Society of Professional Engineers. As chief
bridge engineer, Scot is responsible for DGL performance on
all of our bridge design assignments, as well as the performance
of quality assurance reviews on many of DGL's miscellaneous
structural projects. Scot is especially knowledgeable in the
design of bridges and retaining walls, as well as techniques
associated with hydrology and structural hydraulic analysis.
His experience includes multiple bridge designs for the Ohio
Department of Transportation, the City of Toledo and the Lucas
County Engineer, as well as numerous other clients throughout
DGL’s service region. In addition to his structural engineering
duties, Scot is responsible for the firm’s IT system
and verification/maintenance of its software inventory. |
