Structural Engineer – Development: DGL is seeking a civil/structural engineer to enhance the qualifications of our rapidly expanding Development Division. As a multi-disciplinary engineering and survey firm, success in this position will require the ability to coordinate all aspects of a project beyond the structural discipline. Qualified applicant will possess a BSCE from ABET accredited Institution with 3-6 years of structural experience, including structural design of commercial, institutional and/or industrial buildings. Working knowledge of site design is a plus. Professional Engineering license preferred, working toward PE licensure required.
Civil Engineer – Development: DGL is seeking a civil engineer to enhance the qualifications of our Development Division. Primary Duties and Responsibilities include: perform engineering calculations and reports; coordinate and communicate with clients to determine project scope; coordinate with other engineers and architects on project requirements; supervise and mentor designers for drawing(s) production; prepare drawings and specifications in accordance with project requirements; and review shop drawings, RFIs and respond to other construction questions. Must be proficient in site layout, utilities, grading, drainage and erosion control; have recent experience with interpreting planning and zoning code requirements; and experience with AutoCAD (Civil 3D experience preferred). Other requirements include: BSCE from ABET accredited Institution with 2-5 years of civil experience; experience in structural design of commercial, institutional and/or industrial buildings; and an Engineering Intern Certification is required.
