DGL’s development staff specializes in educational, commercial, industrial and residential developments, including large mixed-use projects, with or without a design build delivery approach. Our engineers are involved in the creation of a site, from initial project feasibility studies through concept, preliminary, and final engineering. We assist in processing applicable town, county, and state approvals for site plans and typically work as a liaison between the client, local planning and zoning boards in the site plan, and subdivision review process.

We regularly provide development services for the following civil components:

  • Access and internal traffic circulation (both vehicular and pedestrian)
  • Boundary and ALTA surveys
  • Construction administration

  • Engineering survey and construction plans
  • Environmental document preparation
  • Environmental permit applications
  • Feasibility and location analysis
  • Floodplain and hydraulic analysis
  • Erosion and sediment control design and inspection
  • Grading and drainage design
