BGSU’s On-Campus Privatized Student Housing project included a 143,400 SF facility known as Centennial Hall and a 193,100 SF facility known as Falcon Heights. DGL’s portion of the project included all civil site engineering and survey related activities. As noted, the project involved two locations, thus two individual site conditions. DGL was responsible for coordinating utilities such as water, gas, sanitary, electric and storm. The approval of site drainage with the State EPA and local agents, as well as water and sanitary approval was led by DGL. An aggressive design and construction schedule were mandated on the project. DGL also handled construction oversight and shop drawing reviews of civil products, as well as construction layout of the building foundations and major utilities.
