DGL performed load rating activities, in conformance with ODOT and CEAO requirements and specifications, of numerous fracture critical truss structures located within Wood County. 

Project highlights included:

• Review of all record drawings provided by Wood County to verify intended structural design behavior for each structure.

• Field assessment of structure’s current condition; specific attention given to section loss within critical locations of primary structural elements.

• Load rating for all critical structural elements of each structure, including primary truss members, floor beams, floor stringers and gusset plates.
