A construction partner enlisted the services of DGL to provide surveying, civil and structural engineering services for the smoking porch project at the Hollywood Casino. This project involved a scope of work including surveying, creating site development plans for submission to the plan commission and provided construction drawings for the steel structure, slab, roof deck and foundations.

DGL worked closely with the architect to make sure that the buildings lateral bracing could be hidden behind the architectural paneling, and created an elevated structure that allows the surface level to be open for emergency personnel. DGL worked diligently to develop unique foundation solutions in order to work around existing conflicts with the current building pads and utilities.
