The Sylvania River Trail runs along Ten Mile Creek and the Ottawa River in Sylvania. Phase II of the River Trail project tracks along the north side of the Flower Hospital campus, crosses the Ottawa River and continues under the US-23 expressway. The trail offers wonderful views of the river and its surrounding ecosystem. DGL teamed with the contractor and Turner Concrete Products to design and develop the engineered drawings for the two Redi-Rock retaining walls and two Unilock Siena Stone walls. The curvilinear walls were utilized to allow the multi-use path to navigate the Ottawa River and adjacent wetlands.
