Several hundred military men and women witnessed the unveiling of the Northwest Ohio 9/11 Memorial at the Air National Guard’s 180th Fighter Wing base. The Ceremony, held on 9/11, commemorated the 15th anniversary of the Sept.11 terrorist attacks. The memorial is currently under construction, but the first phase of the project is complete.

DGL’s own Ahmed Hamid recently received an invitation to participate in a "Boss Lift". While at Rickenbacker Air National Guard Base in Columbus, Ahmed witnessed an in-air refueling mission performed by Ohio’s Air National Guard!

In late May, DGL's own Josh O'Neil and Bob Bailey, along with more than two dozen elected officials, stormwater planners, urban planners, and engineers took a tour of some of the region’s green infrastructure installations. The bus tour was organized by the TMACOG Stormwater Coalition and Ohio Balanced Growth Program.

DGL's own Laurie Adams spoke with the students and school board of Liberty Center High School about becoming involved in the development of their community. The discussion included brainstorming different economic additions that could be offered to residents, as well as different career options that are available within the engineering field.

DGL is attending the The Wood County Economic Development Commission (WCEDC)'s annual meeting tonight. The WCEDC was formed over 20 years ago and is one of the more successful economic development organizations in the State of Ohio.

DGL is supporting the thousands of children in Northwest Ohio that depend on school lunches for adequate nutrition during the school year. With the school year nearing an end, many of our local children will have no access to balanced meals or fresh milk at home throughout the summer months.
