The American Council of Engineering Companies of Ohio (ACEC Ohio) recently recognized 23 projects as part of their annual Engineering Excellence Awards Competition. The award program brings well-deserved public recognition to Ohio's engineering industry by spotlighting engineering projects that demonstrate a high degree of uniqueness, ingenuity and value!

DGL Consulting Engineers, LLC received an honor achievement award for The Navarre Avenue/State Route 2 Safety Improvements project.  The City of Oregon enlisted DGL to improve the safety of the Navarre corridor from I-280 to Isaac Streets Drive. The corridor is a heavily traveled area for the Oregon community as well as for visitors and through traffic. Traffic congestion and risky turns by drivers contributed to the large amount of crashes in the area. The City obtained ODOT Safety Funding to reduce crashes, create a service road to serve local businesses and to set a signature look to their most visible and highly traveled corridor.

The Toledo Society of Professional Engineers (TSPE) annually recognizes a local engineer for their commitment and achievements in the engineering profession and community…this year, TSPE has selected Laurie L. Adams, PE, PTOE, PTP as the 2019 Engineer of the Year!

We are so excited to announce that DGL was named the NW Ohio Concrete Engineer of the Year at the 2018 NW Ohio Concrete Seminar yesterday afternoon. This annual event attracts engineers, designers and other industry experts across the region. The award recognizes and honors the designers whose project exhibits the high value and benefits that concrete pavement offers its owners.

DGL’s traffic counting services provides a foundation of our private development, safety and transportation planning. Understanding existing traffic is crucial to developing a design that improves efficiencies of transportation operations. Precision in traffic data collection is important to sufficiently plan for roadway and bridge design.
