Provided construction administration services for the enhancement of two miles of urban roadway for the City of Maumee was DGL’s charge in this endeavor. Our responsibilities included overseeing the day-to-day construction work and administration activities. In order to ensure the contractors were building the project according to plans and specifications and that the project stayed on schedule, DGL facilitated regular construction progress meetings and provided monthly progress reports to the City of Maumee. In addition, we oversaw testing of materials used on the project; assessed the need for changes to the contract documents; evaluated and gave recommendations for approval of contractors’ payment requests to the City; and in coordination with the City, prepared the paperwork required for submission to ODOT.
