The reconstruction of I-75 in Ohio is a significant undertaking. Projects are taking place to improve the roadway in many parts of the state. This includes the Wood and Hancock County I-75 widening project, designed to create a safer highway for Ohio citizens and the traveling public. Miller Bros. Construction enlisted DGL for this major design-build project for ODOT. The project involved the rehabilitation and widening of existing pavement and multiple bridge decks along I-75. Our responsibilities included roadway geometrics, vertical profile and pavement design, as well as drainage design along the entire length of the project, including median barrier inlet and storm pipe sizing and storm water best management practices.
