DGL provides statewide signal timing analysis and programming for locations identified by ODOT’s Highway Safety Program on a task order basis. The Statewide Signal Timing Services Task Order serves to improve corridor capacity by using low cost solutions such as equipment change outs and updated timing / phasing patterns.  Geometric changes are not typically included as recommendations although lane reassignments may be.  DGL’s assignments involve reviewing operation of individual signals or signal systems, collecting and analyzing data, recommending modifications, and assessing the implementation of the recommendations to improve traffic flow. DGL was awarded 2013, 2016 and 2018 Signal Timing contracts. DGL has been assigned tasks in Districts 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 11 and 12
