Hospitals choose bulk oxygen tanks for many reasons: instantaneous supply for oxygen line failure; extra oxygen to cope with unforeseen disasters; flexibility to handle future construction and other physical plant changes; and/or meet unusual spikes in oxygen demand. DGL worked with an architect from the Cleveland area to provide the design services for the Promedica Memorial Hospital’s new Bulk Oxygen Tank in Fremont, Ohio. Our team provided all aspects of survey, including establish horizontal and vertical control, record boundary and right of way data, as well as topographic field survey. The survey information provided the base drawings for our civil team to designed and grade the new concrete drive/parking area that replaced the existing asphalt between the existing building and tank enclosure. We also designed the concrete slab for the new tank and associated equipment. Fencing/security design and details for the new fence enclosure around the equipment was also provided.
