DGL is seeking full-time and seasonal construction inspectors with a minimum of 2 years construction inspection experience to be part of DGL’s Construction Management and Inspection Department. Construction responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: serve as Resident/Project Inspector on construction projects; oversee daily inspection of work performed; schedule and administer progress project meetings; record daily activities, quantities, contractor’s equipment and on-site personnel. Review/approve shop drawing submittals, change orders and pay requests prior to submitting to owner; monitor overall project budget. Schedule and review material testing and ensure results are per project requirements and specifications. This position may also require office engineering and drafting support on design and contractor support assignments. Previous ODOT experience and/or ODOT construction prequalifications are highly preferred (Project Inspector, Structure Inspector, Traffic & Electrical Inspector and/or Soil & Aggregate Inspector).
