Connected and autonomous vehicle technology continues to change and quickly advance capabilities in the transportation industry. It is imperative for industry planners and professionals to consider the impacts these advancements will have on infrastructure, the economy and society as a whole. In this session, we have assembled a panel of experts to discuss the impacts to the engineering world, as well as the world at-large. The panel will be comprised of AAA Northwest Ohio and The University of Toledo College of Engineering who have paired to offer Technology Takes the Wheel®, a series of free educational offerings related to autonomous vehicle technology. The specific highlights of the series have included General Concepts, Cyber Security, Public Transportation, Transportation Infrastructure, Mobility, Accessibility, OEM’s and more.
