Every year, the Envision National Youth Leadership Forum provides an invaluable opportunity for high achieving middle school students to explore the fields of STEM. Explore STEM is a unique learning experience intended for the next generation of innovators, engineers, doctors, forensic scientists, mathematicians and physicists. The program, held at BGSU, utilizes a hands on and interactive curriculum for students to engage in throughout the summer. Today’s career panel, featuring various STEM professionals, is one of the most important components of the conference. Laurie Adams, PE, PTOE, PTP is one of the panelists and will share her path to leadership, including successes and obstacles, to give students a better understanding of a career in engineering.
