National Engineer's Week 2023

Every year we celebrate National Engineers Week near the same time that we commemorate the birth of President George Washington. He served his country as a public land surveyor, cartographer and engineer before serving as the first President of the United States.

This year’s EWeek theme is “Creating the Future” and it’s just one of the things we do  every day at DGL Consulting Engineers. When we design a project, we are creating a new piece of the future world. Whether we’re making roads and bridges safer to travel, helping commercial clients expand their facilities to create more jobs, or building a boardwalk to more easily take in the scenery, with every new project we hope to make the world a little more enjoyable.

We join engineering firms across the country by inviting you to participate in the weeklong celebration. No matter where you are, we hope you will:

  • Join us in celebrating the positive impact of engineers in our world

  • Do your part to engage and encourage our country’s youth in the field of engineering

  • Voice the need for more engineers and technicians

  • Be an advocate for a better future

Over the course of the last two centuries, there has been an incredible amount of progress made in the field of engineering. One thing remains true, engineers continue to play a major role in the advancement of our communities and of the United States as a whole. At DGL we specialize in Civil Engineering, including Transportation, Traffic & Safety, Facility & Site Development, Surveying, Construction Services, Parks and Recreation, and Residential projects.
