East Perry Street Reconstruction

The City of Tiffin selected DGL to perform construction administration and inspection services for the East Perry Street Reconstruction Project.

DGL’s team provided full-time construction oversight and field observation for the full reconstruction of 1,400 feet of roadway on East Perry Street (SR 18) between Jefferson Street, and 200 feet beyond Circular Street to the east. Improvements included new curbing, sidewalks, curb ramps, and drive approach replacements. Stamped concrete crosswalks were installed at the Jefferson Street intersection, and additional storm drainage was added along with adjustments to the existing structures. Our team also monitored the installation of new signs and pavement markings for the corridor. Our field inspectors worked closely with the City to handle contractual issues as well as monitor the contractor’s schedule and quantities. DGL’s Construction Resident Engineer processed contractor pay requests, geotechnical testing results, and prepared final project closeout.

The project was completed on schedule and under budget.
