DGL provided Construction Inspection / Administration services for this ODOT LPA project that consisted of replacing a 102-foot historic single span pony truss with a 129-foot three span prestressed concrete box beam bridge. The existing truss was carefully lifted off its abutments in a single piece, dismantled, and transported to Fayette County, Ohio, for future use. In addition to the bridge, there was over 600 feet of approach work which required raising the existing profile up to two feet. Minor drainage work consisted of extending an existing outlet. New guardrail and pavement markings were also included.
