SEN-Miami Street Reconstruction

DGL provided Construction Inspection / Administration services for this ODOT LPA project, which consisted of the complete reconstruction of approximately 0.35 miles of Miami Street. Since the existing roadway was uncurbed, the proposed roadway profile was lowered to account for the new curbs. Additional work included in the project are new sidewalks, driveways, storm sewers, decorative lighting, and decorative asphalt crosswalks. The project area is surrounded by Tiffin University and residential properties. Maintaining access to Tiffin University’s parking lots, buildings, and residential properties was required at all times. A portion of the project fell within areas identified by environmental site assessments as having the potential for regulated materials. Excavation in this area required special handling and proper disposal of the materials.
