Temporary Bridge Design / Construction Prep

Toledo Edison engaged DGL to design, evaluate, and prepare construction plans for a temporary bridge needed to cross an existing ditch and provide access for installation and construction equipment at the SR 795 site. DGL provided a cost-effective, temporary bridge system that provided access off of SR 795 to support a maximum truck live load of approximately 85,000 pounds. The project was in compliance with the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT), Wood County Engineer’s Office, and Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) safety regulations and specifications. DGL also coordinated and assisted Edison with the necessary construction permits.
