Anthony Wayne Local Schools completed multiple campus projects in the summer of 2018, including building expansions and parking lot renovations. With the anticipation of the improvements, DGL performed a Traffic Impact Study. Site visits revealed significant congestion issues in the drop-off and pick-up areas during the school year. In the mornings, Finzel Road became backed up over a mile past Bucher Road, and traffic had to be stopped in the afternoons for buses to depart. The goal of the project was to improve student safety during pick-up and drop-off, and also improve the flow of traffic around the campus. Once summer construction was complete, Anthony Wayne Schools asked DGL to create traffic and parking maps to better display the new routes for pick-up/drop-off and buses. DGL also created traffic maps for Waterville and Monclova Primary Schools.
