BGSU Parking Lot Improvements

This parking lot improvement project included the repair of ten main campus lots. The repairs varied from sealing and restriping to full-depth milling and resurfacing. Some lots required grade adjustments and drainage structure improvements. Completing the project during the summer, while student attendance was lower, was imperative. DGL provided GPS survey services on a compressed schedule of all lots. A three-dimensional base map was provided for each parking lot. The compressed schedule and urgency to get the projects to bid required a flexible design and changes in design philosophy as the geotechnical data became available. DGL also provided onsite construction administrative duties as well as office coordination and approvals for change orders, invoices, shop drawings, and scheduling.
