Brunswick City Schools Traffic Study

The Brunswick City Schools consolidated their three existing middle schools into one centrally located campus. Two of the three schools were currently located onsite, with one school moving to the new location. Changes to the internal circulation and access to the main road were analyzed. Upgrades also included improvements to the bus garage. Therefore changes to the bus circulation were also reviewed. It was determined the existing street infrastructure was adequate to handle the new campus traffic. As a subconsultant, DGL helped streamline the drop-off and pick-up process for the new school by recommending specific circulation patterns, removal of unsignalized drives, and potential corridor retiming if needed.
