Camp Miakonda Council Fire Ring

Erie Shores Council enlisted DGL to renovate the existing Council Fire Ring at Camp Miakonda. Camp Miakonda is located at the DeVilbiss Scout Reservation, the 5th oldest Boy Scout camp in the U.S. Our scope of work for the Fire Ring project included surveying to provide existing site information for design, geotechnical investigation, site development plans and structural design to provide construction drawings for the seating, walks, back stage retaining structure, stage structure over the creek, and fire ring. DGL led the renovation of the existing camp council fire ring to include a 400-person amphitheater and stage that spans a small waterway.
