DGL served as subconsultant to SSOE for the signal design portion of this intersection widening project. Results included intersection improvements from a four-way stop to a signalized intersection with turn lanes. A new signal was designed with alternate bid items for decorative features. DGL incorporated decorative poles and arms, decorative lighting, lighted street name signs, banner arms, receptacles for holiday and special event needs, and video detection. The project also included working with various signal and signing vendors to specify items to meet Oregon’s aesthetic requirements.
