The project consisted of the concrete drip strip replacement along Dudley Street and within the Dudley West Mews parking lot. Stamped concrete was used in replacement of the original slate tiles. Other items included removal of triangular grass areas and replacement with stamped concrete. Dumpster enclosures received new decorative fencing and concrete pads. Electrical panels and conduit were installed to better serve community events, such as the “Taste of Maumee.”
The work was designed, bid, and constructed in time for the 2012 Taste of Maumee festival.
In summary, highlights of this project include:
Replacement of concrete drip strip and grass areas with decorative concrete.
Replacement of narrow concrete strips with grass.
New concrete tiles placed for pedestrian access in parking lot.
New curb ramps.
Resurfacing and restriping for the West Dudley Mews parking lot.
New concrete pads designed for dumpster access, including decorative fencing for dumpster enclosures.
Electrical transformer included for “Taste of Maumee” and other community events.
Designed ADA parking and signs in accordance with current requirements.
