Eastwood Schools Traffic Impact Study

ESA, in conjunction with Eastwood Schools, contracted with DGL to complete a traffic impact study for the new elementary school that was added to the existing Middle and High School campus. Traffic counts were collected at the Luckey Road and Sugar Ridge Road intersection. Crash data for the school area was reviewed and found to have no significant issues. Trip generation for the new school was added to the background traffic to assess the need for turn lanes at the new building access points. Due to existing campus circulation, the separation of buses and parent traffic, and the timing of building arrivals and dismissals, no geometric changes were recommended for the project.
