Developed by Ernest Health, the Toledo Rehabilitation Hospital at The University of Toledo Medical Center provides provides intensive rehabilitation services to individuals recovering from disabling illnesses or injuries, including stroke, brain and spinal cord trauma, and complex orthopedic conditions. DGL’s team was contracted to design the nearly 50,000-square-foot rehabilitation hospital, including parking lots, access drives, ambulance access, and utility infrastructure. The design also allowed for a future expansion of up to 17,000 square feet.
