DGL supported Fairway & Sunshine Development through multiple phases of its Catawba Island community developments in Ottawa County. For more than 10 years, DGL’s survey team provided construction stakeout services for numerous communities, including Fairway Villas, Fairway Estates, and Fairway Cottages. The initial phase of the project consisted of quadplex homes, with subsequent phases progressing to single-family homes. Each development was situated on gently rolling terrain within the Catawba Island Club golf course community.
DGL’s team was responsible for staking elevations, lot layouts, driveways, utilities, home foundations, and other site features. As the projects progressed, DGL also provided topographic surveying services and prepared roadway easements.
For residential developments of this scale, DGL’s local presence improved efficiency and reduced response times throughout construction. DGL maintained consistent communication with the property owner and remained responsive to construction schedules and project needs. Each community development was completed successfully, and DGL consistently maintained project budgets and accommodated demanding project timelines.
