BGSU’s on-campus Privatized Student Housing project included two facilities: the 143,400-square-foot Centennial Hall and the 193,100-square-foot Falcon Heights. DGL’s portion of the project included all civil site engineering and survey related activities. As noted, the project involved two locations, thus two individual site conditions. DGL was responsible for coordinating utilities such as water, gas, sanitary, electric, and storm. The approval of site drainage with the Ohio EPA and local agents, as well as water and sanitary approval, was led by DGL. The project required an aggressive design and construction schedule. DGL also provided construction oversight, reviewed civil shop drawings, and performed layout for the building foundations and major utilities.
