The City of Perrysburg worked diligently to extend its shared use path (SUP) system. This project connected to an existing SUP at the intersection of Fort Meigs Road and Roachton Road, extending north along Fort Meigs Road and east along Roachton Road. From this intersection, the 10-foot-wide multi-use path extended west 2,675 feet and included a zigzag pedestrian rail system at the CSX Transportation railroad crossing. The path connected on the western end to a future SUP that provided direct access for pedestrians and bicyclists from Hull Prairie Intermediate School. With the addition of this project, the SUP system in Perrysburg connected multiple subdivisions, three schools, and the YMCA of Greater Toledo Fort Meigs YMCA.
