DGL was commissioned by Saint John XXIII Catholic Church to conduct a Traffic Impact Study for a proposed 27,000-square-foot church on SR 25 in Perrysburg. The proposed church location was just south of the City on SR 25, between Five Point Road and Reitz Road, and scheduled to open in 2018. Saint John XXIII previously used the 14,876-square-foot Parish Center for all parish activities, including mass. The new building allows the church to increase seating capacity and have a dedicated worship space. DGL’s analysis was performed in accordance with ODOT and City of Perrysburg requirements. Traffic volume counts were collected to obtain current traffic volumes for intersections adjacent to the proposed development. ITE Trip Generation analysis was conducted to estimate the vehicular volume generated by the proposed church addition. The existing and generated traffic volumes were combined, and the results were used to perform our analysis.
