The City of Perrysburg hired DGL to complete the TMACOG Transportation Improvement Program (TIP), Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP) application for the Canterbury Development and Fort Meigs Road. The project was located in the southwest quadrant of the Roachton Road/Fort Meigs Road intersection and involved constructing a 0.5-mile-long, 10-foot-wide multi-use path along the south side of Roachton Road, extending west from Fort Meigs Road. The Roachton Road/Hull Prairie Road intersection, about one mile west of the project, has experienced rapid growth. A new 5/6 grade school opened in the fall of 2017, serving approximately 800 students. Additionally, Canterbury Farms developed plans for a residential project in the southeast quadrant of the intersection. Significant coordination has taken place to construct multi-use paths connecting the new school and the Canterbury development. This project linked the existing multi-use path at the Roachton Road/Fort Meigs Road intersection to the Roachton Road/Hull Prairie Road intersection, extending the overall multi-use path system approximately 1.5 miles west.
