This project involved the new parking area design located at the UT Health Science Campus. Located within Library Circle Drive, the parking area featured 147 spaces, including 6 handicap and 1 valet spaces. In addition to emergency personnel, patients, and medical center staff, the lot is intended to serve visitors of the University Medical Center.
DGL, along with its consultants, was charged with taking extraordinary steps to ensure this lot, located in the “front yard” of the Health Science Campus, created an attractive view. Through the use of a depressed profile, extensive perimeter earth mounding, and generous plantings, that goal was met!
DGL also provided cost estimating and construction oversight for this project.
