DGL was selected by the Lucas County Transportation Improvement District to provide engineering services for the Briarfield Road extension project which served as the access to the Anderson’s new headquarters in Maumee, Ohio. The project consisted of a 450-foot extension to the north of Salisbury Road, and the realignment of Brandyway Lane to connect to the new Briarfield Boulevard. The intersection of Brandyway and Salisbury was eliminated and construction included the installation of new storm sewers, sidewalk, and traffic control. The project was designed and plans were prepared utilizing the Lucas County Engineer’s Office Civil3D template. The construction plan set consisted of a Title Sheet, Schematic Plan, Typical Sections, General Notes, Plan & Profile sheets, Cross-Sections, Details (Intersections and Drives), Pavement Marking, and Signal Plans.
