RJ is the Survey Manager overseeing survey operations for each of DGL’s offices. He was elected to principal in 2019. His background includes both field and management experience for private companies and public agencies. RJ has led major projects of all types, including construction layout, numerous boundary surveys and ROW retracements, as well as topographic surveys. His responsibilities at DGL include all survey and right of way activities, specifically: scheduling survey crews and technicians, project management, developing budgets, preparing and reviewing right of way plans and easement descriptions, performing surveys when needed, as well as maintaining client relationships. His experience includes maintaining section corners and records, assisting in ditch maintenance plans and reviewing project data and deliverables. Throughout his career, RJ has demonstrated his ability to manage and lead projects of all types. He believes project success is built on an in-depth review of the tasks and objectives of each project, consistent review of the data and good communication between all parties involved.
