Scot joined DGL in 1983, was elected Principal in 1994 and served as DGL’s Director of Structures (Transportation) for many years. As a senior project manager and with his extensive structures design expertise, Scot’s work includes preliminary and final structural design; hydraulic analysis and design; non-destructive testing and inspection of structural conditions; steel bridge design; pre-stressed concrete box beam; AASHTO I-beam; and the rating and rehabilitation of reinforced concrete and steel bridges. He has experience in construction inspection and contract administration, shop drawing review and construction engineering in conjunction with many of DGL’s bridge projects. Scot retired from full time employment at the end of 2025 and remains on staff to complete several significant projects along with mentoring our bridge staff.
